Cynthia became a Registered Nurse after graduating from California State University, Fresno. She received her Master's Degree in psychosocial nursing and her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Washington. Cynthia has taught in the nursing education programs at the California State Universities at San Jose and Sonoma. In addition to being on staff at Full Heart Treatment Center, she works as a Credentialed School Nurse in West Sonoma County.

Cynthia's life work has focused on the holistic approach to health care, where a person is viewed as much more than a medical issue. In her expanded nursing practice, she has developed expertise in understanding how the human body is influenced by a combination of physical and emotional factors.
